Introducing the Loghouse Hybrid Range: Timber Warmth Inside, Zero Maintenance Outside
September 2025 — Loghouse is proud to introduce something no other UK garden building company offers: the Hybrid range, a new construction type that combines a solid 45mm timber interior with a modern anthracite steel exterior finish.
Why we built it
For years, customers told us the same two things. They love the warmth and character of a real log cabin — and they don't love repainting the outside every few years. British weather is hard on exterior timber. So we asked a simple question: why choose?
The Hybrid range answers it. Inside, you get the same solid 45mm slow-grown Scandinavian pine walls we build every Loghouse cabin with — warm, natural, and beautiful. Outside, the roof and walls are finished in our anthracite "Classic Click" steel cladding. No painting. No staining. No annual maintenance. The building looks as sharp in year ten as it does on day one.
What makes Hybrid different
Solid 45mm timber structure — this is not a metal shed. It is a real log cabin with a protective steel finish.
Zero-maintenance exterior — the anthracite steel cladding never needs painting or treating.
Modern look — clean lines and dark cladding that suit contemporary homes and gardens.
Double-glazed German Schüco uPVC windows and doors as standard.
Delivered and installed by our own teams, like every Loghouse building — around 10–12 weeks from order to completion.
A first for the UK market
Most companies sell one type of building. Loghouse now offers three construction types under one roof — traditional log cabins, Hybrid buildings, and structural insulated panel (SIP) buildings — making us the only one-stop-shop of its kind in the UK. Because we manufacture in our own factory in Europe, we control quality from the first cut of timber to the final fitting.
